Sex Therapy Services

Sexuality is an important part of being human, yet it is influenced by far more than what happens in the bedroom. Relationships, family messages, culture, religion, health, aging, parenthood, stress, identity, and life experiences all shape how we experience intimacy, desire, and connection.

When sex isn't working, the impact often extends well beyond our sexual relationships. It can affect confidence, communication, emotional closeness, and overall well-being.

Sex therapy provides a confidential, evidence-informed space to explore these concerns without judgment or embarrassment. Together, we'll examine the biological, psychological, relational, and social factors contributing to your concerns and develop practical strategies for meaningful, lasting change.

Despite the name, sex therapy is simply therapy where we can talk openly and honestly about sexuality. Whether we're discussing erections, desire, orgasms, pornography, communication, identity, or relationship dynamics, you'll find a space where these conversations are normal—not taboo.

Why Work with a Sex Therapist?

Most graduate counseling programs provide very little training in human sexuality. Because sexuality is the focus of my clinical work, I have pursued advanced education, certification, research, and teaching in this specialty.

As a PhD-level counselor and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, I combine research-informed practice with practical, compassionate care. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and create a sexual life that feels healthy, authentic, and fulfilling.

Whether you're seeking support as an individual or as a couple, you don't have to navigate these concerns alone. Together, we'll identify what's happening, understand why it's happening, and develop a path forward that aligns with your values and goals.
