Nattalie Wolff-Tseng, PHD
Owner, LMHC (FL), LPC (CO), Certified Sex Therapist (AASECT)
Let's talk about sex.
Really.
For something that touches nearly every part of our lives, we spend an incredible amount of energy pretending sex isn't important. We avoid conversations about it. We worry that our experiences are "weird." We compare ourselves to everyone else. We wonder if we're broken.
We're not very good at talking about sex.
Fortunately, it's one of my favorite things to talk about.
Not because I think sex is the most important part of life—but because it touches so many of the things that are. Identity. Relationships. Confidence. Trust. Pleasure. Grief. Aging. Parenthood. Health. Shame. Hope.
When sex isn't working, it rarely stays confined to the bedroom.
This is what I specialize in.
I'm a sex therapist because I wanted to become an expert in something that many therapists receive very little training in.
Sex is not one of twenty specialties listed on my website.
It's my specialty.
My practice focuses on men's sexual health, desire discrepancy in couples, compulsive sexual behavior, pornography concerns, performance anxiety, and the complicated ways sexuality intersects with our relationships and sense of self.
Whether you're struggling with erectile dysfunction, wondering why you no longer want sex, arguing with your partner about intimacy, or trying to make sense of sexual behaviors that no longer feel consistent with who you want to be, you've found the right office.
My style as a therapist
I won't pretend sex isn't awkward.
Sometimes it is.
People often begin sessions by apologizing for bringing something up, whispering anatomical terms, or telling me they've "never said this out loud before."
That's okay. You don't have to protect me from your questions. You don't have to use vague language because you're worried I'll be uncomfortable. You don't have to know the "right" clinical terms.
We'll talk about sex like adults. Honestly. Respectfully. Without embarrassment. I ask good questions. Sometimes I'll challenge your assumptions. Sometimes I'll teach. Sometimes I'll simply help you hear each other differently.
My goal isn't to tell you what your sex life should look like. It's to help you build one that actually works for you.
A practice built on curiosity, not judgment
One of the reasons I love sex therapy is that there are very few simple answers. Human sexuality is wonderfully complicated. Every client brings a unique combination of biology, relationships, culture, family messages, religion, trauma, pleasure, identity, values, and life experience into the room. That complexity doesn't intimidate me. It's exactly why I do this work.
Everyone deserves competent sexual healthcare.
I am a proud LGBTQIA+ ally. My practice is affirming of people across sexual orientations, gender identities, relationship structures, and sexual expression. I also work with people in consensually non-monogamous relationships, polyamorous relationships, and kink communities. You should never have to spend your therapy session convincing your therapist that your identity or relationship is valid before you can talk about the actual reason you came.
We can start where you are.
Why my background matters
I hold a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and am an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. I'm also a counselor educator and sexuality researcher.
Those credentials matter—not because they make me a better person, but because sexuality deserves specialized expertise. I spend a lot of time reading research, teaching future counselors, presenting at conferences, and thinking critically about sexuality. My clients benefit from that. You don't need to become an expert. That's my job.
A little more about me
Outside of my practice, I'm a wife, a mom, an educator, a researcher, and someone who is endlessly fascinated by people. I believe that good therapy should feel both intellectually engaging and deeply human. You'll probably laugh in my office. You might cry. No matter what, you'll leave with practical strategies.
